Terengganu - State And Attractions | Terengganu Darul Iman is a sultanate and constitutive state of federal Malaysia. The coastal city of Kuala Terengganu which stands at the mouth of the broad Terengganu River is both the state and royal capital as well as the largest city in Terengganu.

Terengganu covers  a land area of 12,995 square kilometers and comprises seven districts: Besut, Setiu, Kuala Terengganu, Hulu Terengganu, Marang, Dungun, and Kemaman.

Terengganu - State And Attractions

Terengganu boasts a fine tropical climate, with uniform temperatures averaging from 23-33 degrees Celcius and a mean humidity of about 90%. Rainfalls are copious, accounting to Terengganu's lush rainforest and vegetation. Generally two seasons are distinguished: the rainy/wet season which starts from November - February due to the onset of the northeast monsoon wind and dry season which starts March - October. The best season to visit is during the dry season which offers good weather with sunshine and clear skies at most times.

The people of Terengganu generally speak Terengganuan Malay, which is distinct from standard Malay and Kelantanese Malay, except for those in Besut district and Perhentian Islands who speak Kelantanese.

What would Kuala Terengganu be without the Pasar Payang, or the Central Market? Located just a few minutes of walking north along the pier from the inter-city bus station, it serves as both wet market and a trade centre for the local community. There is an air of festivity as one approaches the entrance of the market, with makeshift stalls lining the path, showcasing trinkets of all kinds.

1. Pulau Perhentian ( Perhentian Island)
The Perhentian Islands are two islands named Pulau Perhentian Kecil (Small Perhentian Island) and Pulau Perhentian Besar (Large Perhentian Island). The Malay name Perhentian is translated as “place to stop” and this is exactly what these two islands were for traders travelling between Malaysia and Bangkok in years gone by. These islands are still a gorgeous place to stop and rest today, albeit for tourists disconnecting from the stress and routine of everyday life and not for weary seafaring traders.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I
find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post,
I'll try to get the hang of it!
